Officials of the airlines, however, said as of now, there was no updated schedule whether the flights would delayed or cancelled due to the French President’s visit on January 24.
A passenger, Ajay, who had to wait for eight hours at the airport due to the cancellation of the flights, said, “Passengers are feeling harassed, the authorities should ideally inform us about the delay and cancellation in advance. Now I will have to go to Delhi first and then take a flight to Mumbai.”
Meanwhile on Thursday, the Northern Railways Ambala division restored the three trains - Paschim Express, Ambala-Kalka Express and Shane Punjab Express - with effect from January 25; they were earlier cancelled in an anticipation of heavy fog. The trains will be running as per their scheduled time.
