PO arrested in Kapurthala, stolen vehicle seized
Kapurthala district police today arrested a Proclaimed Offender, wanted by Amritsar Police in an opium seizure case, and also seized a vehicle stolen by him in 2006.

Kapurthala district police on Thursday arrested a Proclaimed Offender, wanted by Amritsar Police in an opium seizure case, and also seized a vehicle stolen by him in 2006.
Subhanpur SHO Manjit Singh that Vikramjeet Singh of Guru Nanak Nagar in Jalandhar was released on parole in an opium seizure case. He was declared a Proclaimed Offender after he jumped parole.
"On a tip-off, he was nabbed by police today and a Scorpio with a fake number plate was seized from him. He admitted that the vehicle was stolen by him in 2006," the SHO said.
