PTU vice chancellor Rajneesh Arora said that mobile application and internet was an upcoming field of study. Engineers need to have a sound knowledge of applications and system software from both design and execution perspective.

"This course is designed to provide an understanding of modern wired and wireless communications technologies and the software tools. The curriculum will also emphasise techniques required for the development of modern computing systems and include mobile components."
