Punjab Agricultural University student hangs self from fan
A 26-year-old student of Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at hostel number 4 on Tuesday.

A 26-year-old student of Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at hostel number 4 on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Amritpal Singh, a resident of Bathinda. He was pursuing business management.
Sources said the victim was under stress as he was preparing for competitive examinations. Amritpal's friends found his body hanging from a fan at hostel number 4. He was rushed to hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The youth's parents and university authorities have yet not lodged a report with the police.
