Rahul should apologise to Punjab youth for his remarks: BJP

BJP 's national executive member and party's Punjab spokesperson Manoranjan Kalia on Friday demanded an apology from the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi for his controversial remarks that out of every ten youths in Punjab seven are drug addicts.

BJP 's national executive member and party's Punjab spokesperson Manoranjan Kalia on Friday demanded an apology from the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi for his controversial remarks that out of every ten youths in Punjab seven are drug addicts.


Kalia said such type of irresponsible remarks by Rahul has really shocked the Punjabi youth.

"Punjabis are known for their hard work and bravery" Kalia said adding that being a border state the people of Punjab always defused the vision of the anti-social elements and even the terrorists when Punjab was under the clouds of militancy .

He further said that Punjabis have created fragrances of supremacy across the world due to their hard work.
