RPF pulls up 55 defaulters during security drive

As many as 55 people were caught flouting railway norms during a security drive conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at the station on Saturday. The defaulters were produced before railway magistrate SK Goyal in a Lok Adalat court and those found guilty were fined.

The defaulters were produced before railway magistrate SK Goyal in a Lok Adalat court and those found guilty were fined.

Yashwant Singh, RPF commandant, who headed the drive, said that the force kept an eye on the activities at the station.

Unauthorised vendors, ticketless travelers, those found crossing railway lines and spitting on the platforms or roaming without a purpose were among those caught.
