Pradeep is the son of former Jat stalwart Kisan Singh Sangwan, who remained MP from Sonepat Lok Sabha thrice.

Charging sabotage on a senior saffron party leader, said he had hosted rallies twice in Sonepat in which he was blessed by party's national president Rajnath Singh and others.

He alleges every time he was asked to be prepared to contest election, but surprisingly, he was sidelined at the behest of a senior party leader. He has sent his resignation from the post of state secretary to party national president Rajnath Singh.

His supporters and workers protested against BJP leadership outside Sangwan's residence on Saturday night.

Sources said that he may announce his candidature from Sonepat Lok Sabha as an independent candidate.

Pradeep had unsuccessfully contested assembly bypoll from Gohana assembly segment.
