The family members of the deceased had complained to the NCSC that their sons were killed by police in a fake encounter.
Verka,who was on a visit to Ludhiana, asked the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Lakhbir Singh that the adequate security should be provided to the family members who reside at Machhiwara. Deceased’s father Satpal Singh also urged police to speed up the investigation process.
