"Of the 1,100 medical specialists at these centres, 534 were transferred," Lali Majithia said here on Tuesday, adding that rural population had suffered because of it and nobody had bothered. "The people are helpless and have to travel to cities in emergency," said the Congress leader, demanding intervention by chief minister Parkash Singh Badal.
