Teenaged girl commits suicide

A teenaged girl said to be suffering from epilepsy allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house. Her family members rushed her to Mohan Dai Oswal Cancer Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

A teenaged girl said to be suffering from epilepsy allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house on Friday. Her family members rushed her to Mohan Dai Oswal Cancer Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Shivani, 17, of Rajiv Gandhi Colony, who worked as domestic help. Her mother died a few years ago and father was suffering from paralysis.

She was alone at home at the time of the incident. When her siblings returned home, they saw her hanging from the ceiling fan.

According to inspector Raj Kumar, SHO of Moti Nagar police station, no case has been registered in this regard as the family did not suspect anyone.
