With two more city-based patients being tested positive for swine flu on Wednesday, the total number of swine flu patients in city hospitals has reached 35.

Two women - a 64 year old from Civil Lines and a 30 year old from New Shastri Nagar were found positive of the flu. Both the patients are undergoing treatment at Christian Medical College and Hospital.
Out of the total number of local cases, 14 patients belong to Ludhiana and the other 21 are from other districts of Punjab.
Swine flu has claimed seven lives this year in Ludhiana, which included two each from Jalandhar and Kapurthala and one each from Moga, Barnala and Ludhiana.
