Visit to Science City mandatory in schools

The Punjab school education department has decided to make visit to Kapurthala’s Pushpa Gujral Science City mandatory for students in the government schools across the state.

The Punjab school education department has decided to make visit to Kapurthala’s Pushpa Gujral Science City mandatory for students in the government schools across the state.

The objective is to promote scientific temper amongst the student community. As part of the plan, 10,200 students of Classes 6 to 8 from Amritsar and Barnala districts will be sent on this excursion from December 1, a spokesman here has said on Sunday.
