Woman attempts suicide in Punjab
A 32-year-old married woman allegedly attempted to commit suicide by immolating herself and received severe burn injuries at Phool Piyare village here, police said today.

A 32-year-old married woman allegedly attempted to commit suicide by immolating herself and received severe burn injuries at Phool Piyare village here, police said today.
Nisha set herself on fire today following a heated argument with her sister-in-law, they said.
She received 80 per cent burn injuries, they said, adding that her condition is stated to be critical.
An investigation into the matter is on, they added.
