Annanukku Jey trailer: Attakathi Dinesh returns in this Vetrimaaran film
Vetrimaaran’s next production venture is Annanukku Jey starring Attakathi Dinesh and Mahima Nambiar.
Vetrimaaran is known to pick some interesting projects. For instance, Kaaka Muttai, Visaaranai and Lens are the recent movies produced by the ace director that went on to gain critical and commercial acclaim. He is now bankrolling Attakathi Dinesh’s Annanukku Jey, which is a political satire.
The trailer of the film was released on Thursday and it looks like Attakathi Dinesh is back to doing what he does best - a rural entertainer. In this film, he plays the role of a man who tries to become a grassroot member of a political party. His mentor tells him that it is a job that needs dedication and love, but his father believes it is a job not worth doing. However, things take a strange turn in his life and he becomes a politician.
Directed by Rajkumar, the film also stars Mahima Nambiar opposite Attakathi Dinesh. The music is composed by Arrol Corelli and Thabi Ramiah and Radha Ravi play pivotal role in the film. Attakathi Dinesh was last seen in Ulkuthu and is currently also working on Kalavani Mappillai.Vetrimaaran, on the other hand, is busy on this three-part directorial starring Dhanush titled Vada Chennai.
