Baaghi villain Sudheer Babu’s next a Telugu remake of Mundasupatti

Sudheer Babu, who starred as a baddie in Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi, will too appear in a Telugu remake of Tamil comedy Mundasupatti. After that, he will work in a biopic on badminton champion P Gopichand.

Actor Sudheer Babu has a reason to smile after the success of Baaghi where he played the baddie. He has signed his next film which is a yet-untitled Telugu remake of 2014 Tamil comedy Mundasupatti after which he features in a biopic on badminton great P Gopichand.

“Sudheer has been finalised as the lead in the remake. He’s most likely to start working on this project next. The rest of the cast and crew including the director are yet to be finalised,” said a source close to the actor.

According to the source, this project will be an out-and-out comedy, and it’ll be set in a fictional village in the 1980s.

The regular shooting is expected to start from June or July.

Upon completion of this project, Sudheer will start working on a Telugu biopic on Badminton champion P Gopichand.

“Praveen Sattaru will direct the biopic. This project will take off towards the end of the year,” the source added.
