Chiranjeevi hosts a star-studded reception for daughter Sreeja

Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sreeja and Kalyan’s wedding reception in Hyderabad was a lavish affair with the who’s who of Telugu film industry and Andhra Pradesh politics in attendance.

The Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi hosted a lavish wedding reception for daughter Sreeja and son-in-law Kalyan at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad on March 30. Sreeja married her childhood friend Kalyan on March 28 at her father’s farmhouse in Bangalore. The reception was attended by the who’s who of the south Indian film fraternity and politicians. Among the guests were stars Nagarjuna and wife Amala, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, Venkatesh, Arvind Swamy and Rakul Preet.

Sreeja looked pretty in a pink gown designed by Dolly J while her husband sported a matching pink tie. She teamed it up with diamond jewellery.

Sreeja was previously married to BJP member Sirish Bharadwaj. The duo eloped in 2007 and got married, much to the displeasure of the star. The marriage, however, ended in 2014 in the midst of dowry harassment accusations by Sreeja. They has a daughter together. The families of Kalyan and Sreeja have been friends and known each other for long. Sreeja will move to USA post her marriage.
