Chiranjeevi’s Kaththi remake to be launched on Friday

Chiranjeevi’s ambitious new film, the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Kaththi, will finally take off on Friday in Hyderabad. The film is being produced by the star’s son, Ram Charan Teja.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s yet-untitled Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Kaththi will be official launched in Hyderabad on Friday. There is much excitement among the star’s fans for this film as it also happens to be the 150th film of his career.

“After dillydallying for nearly a year, the film will be finally launched on Friday at 1.30 pm. The regular shooting will start from June,” said a source close to Chiranjeevi.

To be directed by VV Vinayak, the project will be bankrolled by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan, who will co-produce the film along with Lyca Productions. The rest of the cast including the leading heroine is yet to be finalized.

In the film, Chiranjeevi will be playing dual roles and he’s rumoured to have already started working out.
