Fans of film stars are known to do crazy things for their matinee idols. However, an argument between followers of Telugu stars NTR Jr and Pawan Kalyan took an ugly turn on Sunday when a fan of the latter was stabbed to death by an NTR Jr fan, reported NDTV.

The incident took place at Kolar, around 70 km from Bengaluru, during a blood donation drive. 24-year-old Vinod Kumar was stabbed with a knife during an argument over who the bigger star was. His attacker, Akshay, was arrested on Monday by Kolar police, reported The News Minute.

Vinod was a member of Pawan Kalyan’s political party Jana Sena party. The fight allegedly began when he and a few others started shouting slogans praising Mr Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan is the younger brother of megastar Chiranjeevi while NTR Jr is the grandson of Telugu legend and former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao.
