Lai Bhaari marks R-Day parade presence, Riteish, Genelia proud
The song Mauli mauli from the Marathi film Lai Bhaari produced by actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia was used to represent the tableau of Maharashtra at the 66th Republic Day parade in the capital Monday.

Actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia are proud producers. The song Mauli mauli from their Marathi film Lai Bhaari was used to represent the tableau of Maharashtra at the 66th Republic Day parade in the capital Monday.
While Lai Bhaari marked Riteish's debut in the Marathi movie space, the movie is produced by Genelia.
"As a producer of Lai Bhari - thrilled that 'Mauli' song was used 2 represent D State of Maharashtra. @BarackObama 's first Marathi song-hehe," Genelia tweeted.
For Riteish, it was a proud moment.
"Lai Bhaari Moment - Maharashtra State representation @ the Republic Day Parade ws done on 'Mauli Mauli' song. #MeProud," he tweeted.
Directed by Nishikant Kamat, Lai Bhaari also features Sharad Kelkar and Aditi Pohankar.
