Made Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan as a Simbu ‘fan’: Director

As a hardcore fan of Simbu, he has always been aware how his fans would like to see him on screen and that is how he shot the film, says AAA director Adhik.

Director Adhik Ravichandran says he made forthcoming Tamil action-drama Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan aka AAA as a fan of its lead star Simbu and his efforts paid off.

“As a hardcore fan of Simbu, I’m well aware how his fans would like to see him on screen. I have made AAA keeping all that in mind and going by the response so far, I believe it has paid off. The film will be a treat for Simbu’s fans,” said Adhik.

Simbu plays an older character called Ashwin Thatha in the film.

Adhik is all praise for the efforts Simbu made to gain weight for the role.

“It wasn’t an easy role to pull off. He could have easily said no to the role but he took it up as a challenge and worked very hard. He gained a lot of weight for the role and wore prosthetic make up to play his part,” he said.

The film also stars Shriya Saran and Tamannaah Bhatia.
