Nayanthara, Vikram to work together for the first time

Nayanthara and Vikram are among the biggest stars in southern film industries, particularly in Tamil films, but strangely the duo have never been paired together. All that is set to change with a new film to be directed by Anand Shankar.

Southern actors Nayanthara and Vikram are big stars but strangely have never worked together before despite having been around in the industry for many years now. The duo will soon be teaming up for a yet untitled Tamil project, to be directed by Anand Shankar.

Two of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars, Nayanthara and Vikram, will come together in Anand Shankar’s next, which will be an action thriller.

“Yes, happy to have two greatest actors on board. Information on other artists, technicians and title to be unveiled soon. For the first time #Chiyaan (Vikram) #Nayanthara,” Shankar posted on his Twitter page on Saturday.

The film, which was supposed to go on floors earlier in 2015, will finally go to sets soon. Tipped to be an actioner, Vikram is likely to don khaki. The film will be produced by Shibu Thameens.
