Samantha, Sivakarthikeyan to team up for first time

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sivakarthikeyan will collaborate for the first time in an untitled Tamil film to be directed Ponram.

Actors Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will work together for the first time in an upcoming yet-untitled Ponram Tamil directorial.

The untitled Tamil film starring Samantha and Sivakarthikeyan will be directed by Ponram.

“Welcome on board Samantha Prabhu for our production number 4 with Siva Karthikeyan,” read a post on the official Twitter handle of the makers, 24 AM Studios.

The project marks the third collaboration of Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.

Slated to go on the floors next year around the Sankranti festival, the film will hit the screens during Diwali 2017.

Before commencing Ponram’s film, Sivakarthikeyan will complete work on his next yet-untitled project with director Mohan Raja. Sivakarthikeyan also awaits the release of Tamil romantic-comedy Remo.
