Suriya channels grungy-cool in Masss new look

A new poster of Suriya-starrer Masss has been released. The poster shows Suriya (but of course!) sporting a pair of blue-tinted sun glasses with a hair style that appears to be a bouffant.

A new poster of Suriya-starrer has been released. The poster shows Suriya (but of course!) sporting a pair of blue-tinted sun glasses with a hair style that appears to be a bouffant. He wears an ear ring and pairs it with leather jacket. The expression on Suriya’s face is a departure from the previous, ominous-looking poster. The second one is a kind of a tough-guy look while the first one had an eerie, ghost-like feel to it.

From what little is known of Masss, the film is supposed to be a horror comedy. Further, reports suggest that Suriya will be seen in a double role which possibly explains the two different expressions and looks.

The first poster led to a controversy with many implying that it was a lift from the poster of Matt Damon's Bourne Ultimatum. However, director Venkat Prabhu denied it.

Masss stars Nayantara and Pranitha as its female leads. The music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja while RD Rajasekhar will be the cinematographer. The film will be distributed by and is expected to hit the screens worldwide on May 15, 2015.
