Actor Tejaswini Pandit is known for her creativity in films and in the entertainment industry. Three years ago, the Ye Re Ye Re Paisa actor launched her own clothing line along with friend and fellow actor Abhidnya Bhave. And, for the first time she will be exhibiting her latest collections in the city.

Tejaswini says, “I have always been fond of designing my own outfits. And once when Abhidnya and I got talking, we figured out our common passion for designing. She designs her own sarees and I was in the process of launching a line. So, we decided to get together and present a collection that reflects both are styles.”

The exhibition will have sarees, one pieces, jewellery and artefacts by the artistes. “Abhidnya and I have some customised paintings, and other knick knacks created by us. We will be displaying the same. Our USP lies in the fact that we design single pieces. Also, we used rare fabrics or ones that are almost extinct. Our idea is to promote our heritage and culture.”

The duo primarily works on kahn, and Tejaswini says, “I can proudly say that we were one of the firsts to experiment with the kahn, which was traditionally used as a choli or blouse.”
