Thala 57: Actor Ajith wows fans with bike stunt, watch video

An action sequence showing Tamil superstar Ajith doing a bike stunt, has gone viral on the internet. The upcoming film, tentatively called Thala 57 or AK 57, will feature some Hollywood-style action sequences.
The 31-second stunt sequence, shot in Bulgaria, shows Ajith doing a wheelie on a dirt bike. A helmet-clad and rather lean and fit Ajith looks quite comfortable doing the stunt. The 45-year-old actor is no stranger to speed given that he is also a qualified race car driver and has taken part in Formula 2 races.
To get the desired effect, director Siva has employed Hollywood action director/choreographer Jorian Ponomareff, who has previously worked on films like Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Jorian put up a post praising Ajith for his work ethics.
The film also marks the Kollywood debut of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who plays the antagonist. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and Appukutty among others.
