Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh is shooting for his upcoming Punjabi film Zorawar in Durban, South Africa. The rapper’s sincerity for the project has left everyone impressed, as despite running a fever, he chose to continue shooting, lest the production suffer losses.
Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh refused to take the day off, even when he was running fever.
“Honey was running a fever, but he didn’t take the day off. He knew we had two hours to shoot at the stadium (in Durban) and wrapped up the sequence well in time,” says the film’s director Vinnil Markan.
Shooting through illness wasn’t easy for Singh, who has earlier acted in the Hindi film The Xpose (2014). “Since it was cold in Durban, Honey would relax in his van between shots. Everyone on the sets was impressed by his professionalism and hard work. He pulled off the action scene amazingly well,” adds Markan.
However, the team wouldn’t let Singh work unless the doctor cleared him. “There was a doctor on the set who cleared Honey to shoot for the day. Vinnil also wrapped up the shoot in six hours, which was otherwise planned to go on for 8 hours,” says a source close to Singh.
