Doting hubby Tom Cruise had reportedly snapped up an £18 million mansion for wife Katie Holmes – even though it wasn’t up for sale.
The actor was reportedly so floored by the Beverly Hills mansion that he made the owners an offer that they just couldn’t refuse. The result - the actor is now the proud owner of a house that comes with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a pool and tennis courts.
A source revealed that the mansion is perfect for the actor and his family, who have till now been renting a home nearby. “The new place fits all his needs,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
The house will also have plenty of place for the Cruise household, which not only includes the actor, Holmes and their daughter Suri, but also Tom’s kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman – Isabella and Connor – as well as his mother, who lives with them.
