The Belgian international had not scored a league goal in 13 matches covering more than 15 hours but said he should have scored more goals at the Stadium of Light as Everton posted their most impressive start to a season for 10 years. After four games, they are level on 10 points with second-placed Chelsea.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside club pledged to donate £200,000 (`1.76 crores) to five-year-old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery in his battle against cancer.
Lowery, who walked out before kick-off as a mascot for Sunderland, was just two when he was first diagnosed with the life-threatening illness. His parents have launched a fund-raising campaign for his treatment in the United States which would cost £700,000.
