MUMBAI: Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president Sharad Pawar, who will have to vacate his seat if the Lodha Committee’s recommendations are implemented, said they are not against the reforms suggested.

“We are not against the recommendations. We only want some clarifications because our lawyers have said that these recommendations are applicable only to the BCCI and not the state association,” Pawar told reporters after the MCA’s managing committee meeting on Wednesday.

For the naming rights of the Wankhede Stadium, three agencies are in the fray and on September 30 , the association will consider the presentations from DDB Mudra, Reliance IMG and Baseline Ventures (I) Pvt Ltd.

Meanwhile, the dispute over head coach Chandrakant Pandit’s remuneration was resolved during Wednesday’s meeting.
