Bhupathi-Mirnyi knocked out in Memphis first round

India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus went down in straight sets to American pair Eric Butorac and Rajeev Ram in the doubles first round of the $1,100,000 Regions Morgan Keegan Championship tennis.

India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus went down in straight sets to American pair Eric Butorac and Rajeev Ram in the doubles first round of the $1,100,000 Regions Morgan Keegan Championship tennis.

Bhupathi and Mirnyi, seeded first, lost 4-6, 4-6 on the hard courts in Memphis on Tuesday.

The two, who came back together for this season, also crashed out of last month's Australian Open.
