Asian games tickets go on sale
The first batch of tickets to the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou went on sale Thursday, with 200,000 made available out of the two million expected to be sold worldwide.
Eighty-five percent are priced between 1.50 US dollars and 58 dollars, organisers said, although the sought-after opening and closing ceremony seats cost as much as 995 dollars.
The launch follows the postponement of ticket sales in March, when competition schedules were still not set in stone. Tickets can be bought online at tickets.gz2010.cn
