France is imploding, England's in therapy and there's no good way to explain what Italy was doing drawing with outsiders New Zealand.

But there's one thing you can count on at this topsy-turvy World Cup, and that is Brazil.
The five-time champs overran Ivory Coast 3-1 on Sunday, boosting its credentials for a sixth World Cup trophy.

The second of the three goals may have come with the aid of unpunished handballs by striker Luis Fabiano, but still the Brazilians impressed.

After the game, Ivory Coast coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said "Brazil can go all the way."
