Chelsea have signed German international midfielder Marko Marin from Werder Bremen, the Premier League club confirmed on Saturday.

Marin, 23, will join Chelsea in the summer after agreeing personal terms with the Londoners, a statement on the club's website said. No other transfer details were made available.

Marin has 16 caps for Germany and played twice at the 2010 World Cup, coming on as a substitute in matches against Australia and Serbia.
