All in all, the final matches in Group C will see all four teams trying to grab an emphatic win. England’s disappointing streak has left the group wide open

1. England need to win. Currently in third place with two points and behind the US in terms of goal difference, England will have to pull off a win against Slovenian for whom a draw is enough.

2. The US will be gunning for a win against Algeria, who will guarantee a spot in R-16. If Algeria win, they will have 4 points and if the Slovenians can beat England, then the Algerians advance. If the match ends in a draw, US will have three points and if Slovenia and England draw their match, England will also have three points. It will go down to goal difference.
