Fiorentina buy former Italy midfielder Zanetti

Former Italy midfielder Cristiano Zanetti has re-joined Fiorentina from Serie A rivals Juventus, the Florence side said on Monday.

Former Italy midfielder Cristiano Zanetti has re-joined Fiorentina from Serie A rivals Juventus, the Florence side said on Monday.

"The midfielder signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year," Fiorentina said on their website (it.violachannel.tv).

The 32-year-old is returning to the side he made his top-flight debut with in 1995. Zanetti spent three seasons at Juve, the last of which was disrupted by injuries.
