‘Scary fast’: Apple's next launch event confirmed. When is it and where to watch
It is likely to be Apple's last launch event for the year.
Apple on Tuesday confirmed another launch event, likely its last such show for the year. The tech giant is promoting it under the tagline ‘Scary fast,’ and, according to multiple reports, the company is poised to roll out the new Macs.

Date and time
Apple will hold its latest launch event at 5pm local time on October 30, which means 5:30am on October 31 in India. The timing is unusual, as the Tim Cook-helmed firm typically launches its products in the morning, which corresponds to late-night in India.
Also, the ‘Scary fast’ tagline could be a nod to the Halloween festival, which falls on the following day.
Where to watch?
A virtual affair, the event can be viewed online at apple.com, Apple Events website, or on the Apple TV app.
What to expect?
As per Bloomberg, the Cupertino, California-headquartered company is getting ready to introduce new iMacs with an M3 chip, as well as the latest MacBook Pros with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. At the top end, Bloomberg says, the next-generation MacBook Pro will include up to 40 graphics cores and 16 main processing ones.
The new M3 versions of the MacBook Air, however, are not expected until next year.
