Court notice to AITA

Acting on the petition filed by S Viswanathan, secretary of the Tiruchirapalli Tennis Association, on the appointment of the AITA CEO, the subordinate court of Tiruchirapalli today served a notice calling on the defendants to appear in court and respond to the allegations.

Acting on the petition filed by S Viswanathan, secretary of the Tiruchirapalli Tennis Association, on the appointment of the All India Tennis Association CEO, the subordinate court of Tiruchirapalli on Thursday served a notice calling on the defendants to appear in court and respond to the allegations.

The petition was filed on Wednesday against the AITA, president Anil Khanna, secretary-general Bharat Oza and CEO Hironmoy Chatterjee.

The petition has termed Chatterjee's appointment "illegal" and in violation of AITA's rules and regulations.
