The Hyderabad-based Sania Mirza took to Instagram to post a picture of her playing with balloons along with the caption: “Waking up to this Birthday Morning. Thank you everybody for the wishes”

The past year has been a great one for the tennis star as she clinched the Australian Open title with Swiss legend Martina Hingis and ended the year as the top ranked women’s doubles player.

Sania Mirza has won three Grand Slam women’s doubles titles and three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles in her career and along with Martina Hingis, she formed one of the most decorated women’s doubles teams in the recent past before their split in August 2016.
