Advocate Inderpal Singh on Monday said that the bail orders of Nationalist Congress Party leader Anil Deshmukh would be implemented from the 11th day if the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) failed to present its role in ten days.

The Bombay High Court on Monday granted bail to Deshmukh in a corruption case filed by the CBI.
Separate cases were filed against Anil Deshmukh by the ED and the CBI.
Deshmukh (71) had sought relief in the case soon after the Bombay high court had granted him bail on October 4 in a money laundering case registered against him lodged by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
A Supreme Court bench refused to interfere with the October 4 order of the Bombay high court that had granted bail to the NCP leader who was arrested in a money laundering case.
A single-judge bench said the money credited to the bank accounts of Shri Sai Shikshan Sanstha, a Nagpur-based educational trust controlled by the Deshmukh family, were not proceeds of crime, and ordered that the 73-year-old be released on a personal bond of ₹1 lakh and one or two sureties.

Anil Deshmukh was arrested in November last year and had approached the HC after a special PMLA court had rejected his bail application earlier this year.
A top court bench said any person who has filed a bail application has a legitimate expectation that his plea will be disposed of at an early date. “Keeping an application for bail pending is not consistent with the Right to Life under Article 21,” it said.
A prison official said the former Maharashtra home minister and NCP leader Anil Deshmukh felt dizzy and complained of chest pain.
All these three leaders have been kept in separate cells in Arthur Road Jail for security reasons and TV, carrom, books and other necessities have been provided to them in their barracks.

Maharashtra news: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari ordered a floor test for 11 am Thursday to check the majority status of the Shiv Sena-led ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
Both Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik were also denied the permission to vote in the recently held Rajya Sabha elections after the Bombay high court dismissed their bail pleas. The NCP leaders are currently in judicial custody in money laundering cases.

Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh and incumbent minister Nawab Malik couldn't vote in the recently held Rajya Sabha elections after the Bombay high court had refused their plea.
During the hearing, senior counsel Amit Desai, who appeared for Malik, said the senior NCP leader and minister only wanted to cast his vote using police escort.
Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik moved the Bombay high court on Thursday after their plea for one-day bail was rejected by a special PMLA court in Mumbai during the day.

The moves comes after the special PMLA court rejected the pleas of former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh and minority affairs minister Nawab Malik seeking one day bail to be able to vote in the elections scheduled on Friday.
Anil Deshmukh is arrested in connection with the corruption case against him, whereas Nawab Malik was arrested in connection with a money laundering case registered against fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar and some of his close associates.
Deshmukh had on Friday filed the plea seeking temporary release for a day to cast his vote at the Rajya Sabha elections scheduled to be held on June 10.
Supriya Sule's comments come even as the ED sought time to file replies on the applications of Malik and Deshmukh, seeking permission to be allowed to vote in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Maharashtra.

Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh was arrested in November last year by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with charges of money laundering against him.
The charge sheet will be checked by the sessions court registry after which it will be submitted before the special CBI judge.
