BCCI divided over decision to involve Dubai Sports City in organising Asia Cup

As per current plan, the event will be organised through Dubai Sports City (DSC) and the financial expenditure stands at approximately $8 million. But according to the mails exchanged between the BCCI CEO Rahul Johri and treasurer Anirudh Chaudhry, the tournament could have well been hosted at around $5 million if the board had not handed the organisational duties to DSC.
