BMC budget ₹46 cr shy of ₹60k cr mark
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai has announced a budget of ₹59,954.75 crore for 2024-25, just ₹46 crore short of the ₹60,000-crore mark. The allocation is 10.5% higher than the previous year, but no new projects were announced and little provision was made to address air pollution.
