The Delhi government is contesting a petition by the Delhi Sarkari Ration Dealers Sangh, a group of FPS owners, in which they have challenged the doorstep ration delivery scheme and demanded that it should be declared ultra vires (beyond one’s legal power or authority)

Using e-PoS devices is key to both the ‘one nation, one ration’ policy and the doorstep delivery of ration, a senior government official said.

Delhi Government delivered on 99.5% of doorstep service requests

When launched by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on September 10 last year, the scheme offered 40 services. Last month, on August 11, the government added 30 more services, taking the total number of services offered to 70.
