A rare sight of a mama rhino giving birth to a newborn baby at a national park was recently posted online. The precious video, since being shared, has won people’s hearts and prompted them to talk about the beauty of the moment. Originally tweeted by Wildfriends Africa, an Eco-tour company in Africa’s Uganda, the video wowed people after it was re-shared by IFS officer Sudha Ramen.
“Wildest sightings… a mother #rhino giving birth, it's quite rare to see these honed members of #bigfive African mammals give birth… more excitement is the fact that these creatures are critically endangered! #Africansafari #wildlife #safari,” wrote Wildfriends Africa while sharing the video.
“It's rare to get such precious moments. A new life, after 16 to 18 months of gestation - #mother #Rhino. The multiple threats for its survival has made these critically endangered species as a population that needs highest protection & conservation,” Raman tweeted while re-sharing the video.

The video was posted a day ago. Since being shared, the clip has received close to 1.1 lakh views and the numbers are only increasing. The tweet has accumulated more than 2,200 likes. People posted various comments while reacting to the video.
