Aamir Khan’s trainer clears auditions for India's Dancing Superstar

When David Poznanter came to India to train Aamir Khan for his role in his upcoming film, Dhoom:3, little did he know what lay ahead. After finishing his work for the film, the trainer has now auditioned for the upcoming reality show, India's Dancing Superstar.

When David Poznanter came to India to train Aamir Khan for his role in his upcoming film, Dhoom:3, little did he know what lay ahead. After finishing his work for the film, the trainer has now auditioned for the upcoming reality show, India's Dancing Superstar.

The excited 33-year-old says, "This TV show is a new chapter in my life".

"I have been training Aamir for almost three years. I took a break from my career as a performer. So I am looking forward to the show and want to see where it takes me." David has never been on television before, which is why he was very enthusiastic to give the dance reality show a try. "It seemed like a thrilling opportunity. It will give me a chance to do what I enjoy most, and that too in front of an audience."

He has cleared the first stage of the auditions and will perform in front of judges Riteish Deshmukh, Geeta Kapur and Ashley Lobo in the second round of the Star Plus show.

David admits he got a lot of attention once word got out that hefs Aamir Khanfs trainer. He also tells us that Aamir is aware of his desire to dance. Heis very supportive of my work and has become a good friend over the years.Aamir plays the role of a circus artiste in Dhoom:3, for which he trained with David.

"I am a professional circus artiste, coach and personal trainer. So I was assisting him in weight training as well as a circus coach."
