Veteran actor Anupam Kher will make a special appearance in TV show Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, his first fiction series as a producer on the small screen.

Anupam Kher’s first TV show as a producer, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, was first aired on Zindagi channel on October 3.

The show, airing on Zindagi channel since October 3, revolves around the journey of a young man who wants to make it big in Bollywood.

“It was exciting to play a cameo role in my maiden fiction show. My entry in the show encourages Arya (the main protagonist) to believe in his talent and encourages him to live his dreams,” Kher said.

In the programme, the 61-year-old thespian will be seen auditioning for talented actors from all over the country. Kher plays himself in the series and the episode featuring him will be aired on Tuesday.

Produced by Kher under the banner of his acting school Actor Prepares, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par is the story of a 24- year-old man, Arya Kashyap (Ashish Kadian), who leaves behind his girlfriend Niyati Bajpayee (Megha Chakroborty), and his family to come to Mumbai to fulfil his dream of becoming a Bollywood star.
