Beyhadh actor Jennifer Winget’s paycheck has just got fatter

Thanks to her popularity on the show as Maya and the offers the actor is getting from rival channels, the makers have increased Jennifer Winget’s remuneration.

Actor Jennifer Winget is in news for her bald look that she will soon be sporting in Beyhadh. Her portrayal of the psychopath Maya on the show has earned her good reviews. Reportedly, given her growing popularity, the makers have increased her paycheck and the amount is staggeringly high.

Jennifer Winget currently plays the character of Maya in Beyhadh.

According to ABP live, Jennifer was paid in between Rs 80,000-85,000 per episode. However, now she will be drawing Rs 1 lakh per episode. This raise in her remuneration is also because the actor had been getting good offers from other channels and at this point the makers can’t afford to lose her.

“Jennifer ability to improvise and strong performance has helped the show to get good TRPs. She is also open to experimentation. Unlike other actors, she was keyed up to play the bald avatar and had shot her scene quite well. Given her performance and contribution, the show makers decided to give her a raise as she wanted,” says a source close to the unit, adding that Jennifer is happy with the money she is getting now.

With this increased paycheck, Jennifer joins the league of highly paid TV actors. Hina Khan of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame, Drashti Dhami and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya also get about Rs 1 lakh per episode. While Nakuul Mehta of Ishqbaaaz gets 2.5 lakh each episode.
