Bigg Boss 2 Tamil, episode 56: Yaashika confessed that she has feelings for Mahat, but she also says that she respects the situation that he is in.

The housemates in Bigg Boss 2 Tamil decided to nominate Janani Iyer, Senrayan and Ponnambalam for eviction. The contestants had taken part in a task where they had to mimic one housemate through the week. The best performer during the task was Janani and Daniel received the worst performer tag. Mumtaz was offended by Mahat’s mimicry of her, and so were Aishwarya and Ponnambalam. So Kamal chose to address questions to person who mimicked and not the contestants directly. He asked Yaashika, who mimicked Vaishnavi, about the latter’s thoughts in the house, and so forth.

The housemates were entertained with each others answers, especially when Mumtaz was asked if she was happy with Mahat’s performance. She replied vin negative. When asked why, Mumtaz said, “I don’t scratch my crotch in the kitchen. I rest my case.” This even had Kamal laughing. She also pointed out how it was unnecessary to stuff his behind with pillows to look a certain way.

Vaishnavi and Daniel’s cold war escalated as she felt she was being pushed down and belittled by Daniel. She initially refused to comment on it when Kamal asked, but on further questioning and prodding, Vaishnavi confessed that Daniel’s way of speaking to her offended her. She also said that Daniel didn’t respect her ideas when they had performed the luxury budget task together last week.

The most surprising confession, however, came from Yaashika. In Friday’s episode, Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson, who were contestants of Bigg Boss season 1 had visited the house to promote their debut film, Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. They had asked questions to the housemates about each other. So when they asked the housemates if the relationship between Yaashika and Mahat was something more beautiful than friendship, the entire house had replied in affirmative except Mahat himself. He said no and this broke Yaashika’s heart. When Kamal asked Mahat what was the situation, he said that he was not sure how to explain, except that he was already in love with someone who was waiting for him outside the house and he just didn’t want to hurt her.

Kamal then asked Yaashika what she felt and the 19-year-old contestant honestly said that in the last 50 days, she has come to fall in love with Mahat. She also said that she understood Mahat’s situation so she would respect his situation but that doesn’t change her stance. Kamal was impressed with Yaashika and appreciated her for the honesty. He also said that girls shouldn’t feel defeated during these situations but instead should be strong.

He also said that people everywhere were ready to criticise and it was not necessary to reply to people’s opinions. He said that his practice was to take the criticism the right way based on the intention behind it. At a time when his film Vishwaroopam has received mixed reviews, it did seem like the actor is answering his critics.

The episode concluded with Kamal hinting that just like last week, Janani might unexpectedly be the one to be nominated. But will she really? The host said that he will reveal the people’s decision on Sunday.
