Mayank Anand, the green-eyed doctor from Dill Mill Gayye, may be back on the show soon. But the actor isn’t confirming his return. All he says is, “Who knows what will happen tomorrow?” Anand was apparently shown the door but insists that he was merely on ‘leave’. “I wanted some time off, the producers agreed,” he says.

The actor also maintains that he has no qualms about playing second fiddle to Karan Singh, the protagonist. In fact, Anand points out, that Dill Mill Gayye is one soap where even the guys get to do something.

Not comfortable with reality shows, Anand would rather graduate to films given the chance. He asks, “Isn’t it every actor’s dream to do a movie?”
