Hiten Tejwani is perhaps one of the rare actors who has not changed over the years, despite attaining stardom. He is, undoubtedly, one of the biggest stars on Indian television with a huge fan following. But it has been some time since we have seen him in an active role on Indian television.

"I understand the situation. Every day I am getting a number of calls from people across the country. They are all anxious about my comeback in television and want to know about my next show," says the popular hero.

"I am not relaxing or chilling out during this break. At this point in time, I am reading a few film scripts and analysing some roles that I have been offered for television shows. I understand that in this industry if you are out of sight, you are out of mind, and let me reassure my well wishers that I will be back soon!" says Hiten.

The handsome actor will be seen in the ongoing Balaji serial Kitani Mohabbat Hai starting next month. "When I signed the contract I was told that my character will come live after 3 months. So there was no hurry. That is the reason I utilised the time for Jasuben.. and Kumkum where I did two cameo roles. In fact, the last one was with Gauri," explains Hiten. Is it true that his role in Kitani Mohabbat Hai will be like Anil Kapoor's role in Taal? Ask Hiten and he will respond with a smile, "Wait and watch!"
