Gautam Rode is like an elder brother to me : Shaleen Bhanot

Actors Gautam Rode and Shaleen Bhanot who are co-stars on a show, have become great friends off-screen as well.

Actors Gautam Rode and Shaleen Bhanot both are known to give strong performances onscreen in their current show, but have now revealed to be close offscreen as well.

Actor Shaleen Bhanot has become best friends with co-star Gautam Rode.

“Gautam is extremely close to me. He is someone I look up to for any kind of advice and he willingly gives it,” says Bhanot, who plays the role of Dhuryodhana in the show Suryaputra Karn.

Both the actors are known to be really good friends offscreen and often go for luncheons and dinners together. “Gautam is like an elder brother to me. I discuss my work and personal life with him. I don’t share the ‘only a co-star’ relationship with him. You don’t come across many co-stars you want to hangout with. A friendship which I will cherish my entire life,” he says.

Actor Gautam Rode plays the role of Karn in the show Suryaputra Karn.

Does he plan to work with him in more projects? “Why not?,” says Bhanot and adds, “When I know that I enjoy working with someone, why wouldn’t I do more work with him. Ofcourse, having an apt role and a good script is equally important.”
